Mauve Sq petal Flower
This Square petal flower with prepared thread and molla petals.
Materials
Rayon floss thread DMC no33607
Mauve colour copper wire 0.2mm
Gold molla (maria kerr's molla)
Mauve copper wire 0.5mm for the 1st layer stems
Gold copper wire 0.5mm for the molla petals
Gold farfalla (zigzag wire)
Gold wire 0.2mm for the beading of the centre pearl and beads
Gold decorated pearl 4mm with mauve glass beads
Anima 1mm, 6cm long (the main straightened wire 1mm to mount the flower on)
Copper wire 0.2mm to mount the flower
Floral tape.
Method
1st layer ( 5 Sq. Petals)
On the mauve wire 0.5mm and with the prepared thread make 5 square petals measuring 1.6cm and finishing them off by 3 rounds of gold farfalla (zigzag wire)
2nd. layer
7 Gold molla square petals (full instructions in my book or DVDs)filled with mauve rayon floss 33607.
Gold pearl 4mm decorated with mauve glass beads for centre of flower.
Cover the Anima with floral tape and bind the gold pearl with the copper wire 0.2mm.
Bind tightly the petals of the first layer and exactly beneath them the seven molla petals of the second layer. Bind all petal stems till the end of the anima.
Cover with floral tape.
